Mac Berry Farms started expanding in 2001, going from a simple 5 acres to 50 acres of highbush blueberries. We have 7 acres of arctic kiwi and raspberries on route 221 in Sheffield Mills, surrounding the new estate brewery.
Our farm has three beautiful ponds and a private golf course for recreation.
Arctic kiwi, blueberries, and raspberries are high in anti-oxidents, vitamins, and minerals. Our mission is to provide local, healthy fruits right here in our home province of Nova Scotia.
We encourage all residents to work on our farm, including youth for summers jobs, seniors, and all capable people. The farm is beautifully kept by our employees, yielding a pleasant berry picking experience. We allow all pickers to simply arrive and work at your own pace with little hassle.
We offer U-Pick all season long to local markets and afar. Typically the market opens middle to late July, and extends to middle of October.
We offer convenient picking for people with disabilities and special needs. We allow certain pickers to park close to where you’re picking and lessen strainful walking at greater distances.
